It's been a few months. We went back to Blanche and the big news is that Sered is no longer Sered, but "Lo'Qun - Exarch of the Branch" her former drag identity and is back to ruling HER city. She was reincarnated into an evil Deva (Rakshasa) with a tiger head and upside down hands.
We all return to stabilize and learn more about Lo'Qun's transformation. Despite new tiger/hand characteristics, can still look like Sered. Ioun now has the Prothumia, but there is still a conflict over what to do with the book (hide vs.public) Ioun also wants knowledge to free everyone. Tries to sever ties with Sered's link to zer God. Makes a pact with the Prothumia to protect zerslef from dying, but becomes a Rakshasa to live (a type of warlock). The book is the source of her power.
Xolo is our new friend. He had a falling out with a devil dude and met Fade at a rogue convention in Blanche.
Fade took off a headscarf and it turns out that he is a lady with white hair. Sister Githzerai time! Sad about losing her shadow power.
Durga has been drinking herself into oblivion.
Aceldama has been playing with and training her new panther kitten, Amparo. The panther was a present from Lo'Qun.
There have been no teleportation times from Nave. Fade's ties to the Shadowrealm have become strained. Sered's falling out with Ioun made the Raven Queen mad, so she took away all of our presents.
Blanche is having a poverty time. Lo'Qun is still in charge, but the Council basically runs things. Hollis is a neighboring city whose borders are growing closer to Worlington. Worlington tries to make a public show of belonging to Nyland (because fancier) as big fuck you to Devereaux. They are trying to secede.
The girl gang is accompanying L'Qun to a trade agreement. Timothy Phreak is the key dude to get involved with keeping Blanche in power. Lo'Qun is paying us to keep her company. We take a black carriage to make an entrance.
The goal is to forge an alliance with Hollis and to war against Worlington. Xolo is looking for the bathroom. Fade is creeping around behind the guards. Timothy wants to know what Blanche can offer. Lo'Qun intimidates straight-off. Wants fealty sworn. Offers to work together to get Worlington.
Xolo and Fade are in the shadows. Lo'Qun can telepathically communicate 30 feet in any direction. We fight with the guards until they are dead. Timothy Phreak was subjected to several illusions, but is freed from them. Lo'Qun declares him her bitch with her creepy hand while he stares down milky tentacles.

Sered Gets Raptured, Dino Claw (7/29/15)
Picking up seconds from last episode - Sered still has the Prothumia. Everyone is standing in the library, then Sered disappears with no effect. We are chill with the remaining priests and paladins. "Ioun has plucked Sered from out realm to Her realm". He got fucking raptured!
Fade cries. Noreak doesn't.
After ten minutes everyone wants to leave. We leave a scroll for Ohad saying "Look for us in town Hunty!"
Research montage: Re: interrealm travels. Very dangerous. Many things can go wrong. Subject to other gods. Getting stuck. Going too far.
We head back to Blanche. On the first day of traveling, Aceldama's horse gets spooked and throws her off. She's fine, but the horse bolts. After a bit stops and seems stressed out.
On Day 2, Aceldama & Fade's horses get spooked again. Noreak notices something moving around, like an eel in the air, or ripples in a circle [Sered and zer vagina chains??] The thing materializes more. It looks silvery with lots of teeth, but no eyes. Durga smashes the eel! Then 7-8 creepy medium visible things run into the forest. "Not Misty"'s head gets rended off and pulled into the air. A bunch of eels attack at one time. Durga cleaves the eels to death. Now scaly monkeyish creatures rush.
A stingray pterodactyl arrives while we are still fighting the monkeys. When the pterodactyl dies, a bunch of eels and a behemoth show up.
NEED TO PLUG THE HOLE!
Fade runs off the map and sees a rend/portal. Something is poking out - a huge black rock? a talon?
Durga gets taken by a pterodacytl into the rend. She is failed by her strength. Inside the rend is unsettlingly flat, crimson red, no moon, no sun, and incredibly hot. There are dark clouds, but they are actually clouds of eels. We figure out that this is a dinosaur monster. It is huge, bigger than most cities, but it is dead. His talon is the "rock" creating the portal.
Fade and Aceldama go get horse blood from "Not Misty" to smear on the dinosaur finger flesh so that the eels will chew the finger off and close off the rend. Eels eat the flesh, but lose interest in the bone.
Noreak uses Word of Suppression aimed at the knuckle. It's taking too long so Fade summons his shadow twin to punch the bone. Durga gets extremely impatient and jumps back into the portal, hits the bone, and it shatters. The claw gets pulled through to our realm. Fade Shadow Jr. loses a finger. We bring the talon back to Blanche to create new weapons out of its material.

We have to leave Blanche. We don't know what's up with Nave, so Sered puts Anastasia (a parliament member) in charge of the city while we are gone. Fade has been developing a relationship with his horse Misty.
After one day of highway horse travel, we set up camp past the prairie in the woods. At the end of the third day we get attacked by a basic bitch, a nerd, a junkie, and two other creeps with warhammers.
The Veknacult attacks us to get the Prothumia. On the fourth day we get to the temple. The Githzerai siblings and Durga get a drink. Noreak and Sered head to the temple where they encounter Ohad, a high priest and librarian.
Ioun is realmmates with "Caroline & Paypal". Sered negotiates with Ohad since he can't do the ritual to contact Ioun. Ohad wants to put the book in the opulent library, but in the restricted section. Sered is concerned about what happens if the Veknacult comes and beats up the priests. As a compromise, they agree to give the book to Ioun as an offering. Noreak performs Flames of Purity, but the book won't light on fight. Sered tries Purging Flame then Balefire- it all just falls into a mountain.
Meanwhile at the bar...Fade and Aceldama confirm that they are siblings and they share the love of Githzerai hits such as "I Don't Want No Slaves" and "I'm Not a Slave 4 U". Durga whips out her boobs.
The crew climbs down the path from the Eye of Vireo. Misty the Black Stallion has to stay behind. We encounter Volar and some Paladins who found the Prothumia. Durga uses some titty-diplomacy. Volar wants the knowledge shared with everyone. Concerns about counterspells, and then Fade announces that "it had been a while" since we all went to church.
Volar and the group passes by. Durga, Sered, and Aceldama run up to the temple and hang out in the stacks. Meanwhile Noreak and Fade sneak and follow behind them.
Volar gives Ohad the book. Ohad thinks that not all knowledge should be public, and reiterates that it should be placed in a restricted area. We kill everyone in the library, except Ohad, who we still want to talk to. Consequences?? Cliffhanger...

People Didn't Have TV Back Then (5/7/15)
Things we are concerned about 1.) Veknacult 2.) Orcus 3.) Tiefling sword
Back in Blanche...
Sered's compound is like the Black Book Club's mansion, but unsullied and near the city center. It's Duvall Feelin's former residence. Sered reads the Prothumia.
The Tiefling sword helps bridge realms. Th Veknacult super wants the Prothumia. The Orcus Cult wants the Tiefling Sword to attack the Raven Queen. Also THE WILL...
Sered is "angel investing" in Blanche/New Dealing it up to get the population back on his side.
Fade is hitting up bars for rumors. There are rumblings about Lamarcus. Randall Arden - head of the farmer guild - is trying to get things in order. Everyone likes him. He's trying to get others besides merchants involved in politics.
Durga and Aceldama interrogate the Duchess. She says:
1.) Lamarcus is fancy but dumb minion of Orcus with agents looking for the sword. She doesn't know where Lamarcus is - more concerned with the sword. He took orders from Lord Gazelion (RIP). No luck finding the Tiefling sword. Someone is probably using it to travel between realms.
2.) the Will - might have been involved with the murder of Clayton von Trashperson. They might have the sword and attack Orcus sometimes.
3.) Upcoming rituals/Cult of Orcus events - the last one was the big one, but antsy about attacking the Raven Queen- need the sword
4.) She has an incurable disease - a genetic problem, which is why she wanted to become a vampire. She's not that connected to the scene.
5.) Her army will attack Blanche to rescue her
Sered and Noreak study and decode the Prothumia. There are spells to create armies, monsters, distraction. Pulling things from other realms, raising the dead, etc. Sered wants to give the book to his god Ioun.
Larmarcus is giving speech. Brings Randall up on stage, who then endorses Larmarcus. Fade waits until the end of the speech, then follows Lamarcus. He has two guards and meets up with a lady (she looks very strong with a big sword turned up at the end) and her six knights. They look like the knights from the party and definitely belong to the Duchess. Fade eavesdrops and hears "army attacks in the next two days". The lady is aggressive, but not evil. Wants to secure the Duchess before sending in the army.
A thief breaks in and tries to unlock the Duchess. Durga kills him, but before that happens, Fade tries to take out Lamarcus and has to retreat. Three more creeps are on the roof. We kill them all. Then Sered gives a speech in front of the gathering "We have been attacked by the Cult of Orcus and Lamarcus is an Orcus cultist. Things aren't great, but we have to work together, plus here's some $$$"
Then lady knight comes with her knights. They are from the Isle of Soiph. The lady warrior uses her curved sword to exhaust foes before decapitating them. Her name is Thelma, and she is the Duchess' wife. She demands her wife back, or to send in the army. We propose a trade of Lamarcus for the Duchess. [Thelma knows the Cult of Orcus has been razed]. The Duchess is still blabbing about a land grab in Blanche. Durga slips her number to Thelma.
Sered has another speech. We decide whether to publicly execute Lamarcus. People didn't have tv back then. Agree on public humiliation instead. Randall is the guest of the honor.
Multi-week Montage - Orcus comes - tries to rescue Lamarcus - Fails. Public isn't super into our public humiliation time - Randall thinks the farmers should have more power - in negotiations with Sered. Blanche is kinda like a monarchy with a Parliament and seems pretty stabilized.
Outstanding problems: 1) The Will 2) Tiefling Sword 3) Where's Nave? 4) Gotta hide the Prothumia with Ioun 5) Veknacult?

Goth Party-crashing (4/3/15)
Nave has another mission: the Cult of Orcus' Prince of Demons wants to kill the Raven Queen. The worshippers want to become vampires and zombies and the undead.
Gotta sneak into the necropolis. There's a culty center of town, but no substantial magic. Obsidian government-like building with light coming from the building. Orcus members are into drinking blood.
There are torches in the basement. The light is of a purplish color and there are red tapestries. Essentially, it's a goth party with waitstaff. There are about 40 fancy people on the mezzanine and another 250 people on the main floor. Some people have guards with them.
Fade knocks out a waiter and steals his clothes. Sered sews an outfit from the red velvet curtains and creates a black lace mask. Durga and Aceldama act as guards to Sered.
The crowd is excited about Lord Gazelion who is conducting the ritual. We talk to one guy who was affiliated with the Black Book Club (knew Nathan Broadmore). Find out that Lamarcus Tinker is planning to take over Blanche as a tyrant to get money to fuel Orcus' army.
Sered meets the Duchess who reveals that Lord Gazelion has possession of the Prothumia. She has agent looking for the Tiefling sword.
Durga kills a knight/guard. Lord Gazelion is trying to network with the Veknacult. Fade kills Devlin after he gives up some info.
Lord Gazelion is killed by Fade's shadow friend/minion [because he can do that now!?!] Prothumia is found on the body.
Sered takes the Duchess back to his place to get info - CANNOT KEEP HER AS A SLAVE (the Githzerai aren't down)

All in Our Minds (3/12/2015)
Nave is talking to the Raven Queen. Lithurnia is the Raven Estate. We have to solve the mystery of Clayton's death!
We need the help of a powerful psionic. Sered sits out because a) he's trying to keep Blanche under control b) does not care about Clayton and c) is busy worshipping himself
We teleport to a tall tower in a forestry area. There is a small human sitting on a pillow. His name is Zotir and he's going to help us out. He takes us back to the time when we all saw Clayton dead. Cue incense lighting...
DURGA'S MIND
There's a large tavern and a bar brawl. Must kill tha mob.
NOREAK'S MIND
Grassy hilltop with a glowing runestone that Noreak doesn't recognize. The sun keeps getting brighter and brighter, but then Fade covers the rune with some of his shade. Then it gets really cold. Aceldama touches her flaming axe to the rune and everything gets old.
ACELDAMA'S MIND
We all appear underwater, but of course it's really blood. There's a small island in the distance. There are shark fins everywhere and the sharks have axes for their heads. Noreak gets everyone to the island. We find a cute kitten and don't kill it.
FADE'S MIND
Purple filter on a twisty hallway. A black shadowy figure that looks just like Fade.
Stiched together shared memories of Clayton's death. There's a symbol on the fancy rug - an alchemy symbol. Leaning back in a weird way...blood running down. We find that he was depressed and he threw himself into the sword. Zotir comes floating back over Clayton. Zotir becomes a young blue dragon and attacks us.
Back 2 Life, Back 2 Reality

Hallucinatory Castle Island (2/10/2015)
WE ALL WENT SHOPPING!
Nave teleported people where they wanted to go. Three months pass. A mourning and training period.
Sered has been busy controlling Blanche. The economy has collapsed, but farmers in the countryside seem to be doing okay because they control the resources that supply Blanche.
No one has seen Fade.
There's a snow time that turns out to be an illusion. Clayton has been undetectable since he took the sword. Needs to be killed. Mission: Assassination. Clayton is in cahoots with Orcus (the god of Afterlife and Death). Teleporting into a weird in-between zone through the Shadowfell to new realm.
Blood red sky - floating obsidian island with a brutalist castle. There are crevices and a large tower. We tie some ropes together and pull Sered up. Everyone else ascends through other means - teleportation, athletic jumping, etc.
Two humanoid demonspawn attack. It's a trippy encounter with different characters have different perceptions. There's a blood slide. Shadar-Kai are gothy shadow people and a chain demon. We have a super weird time, and it becomes clear that some people are hallucinating.
We go into a room and discover that Clayton is dead. He died of auto-sword asphyxiation. There's an earthquake and a fault opens. Everything falls into the crevice. Wake up back in the other world with Nave.

We go into a room and discover that Clayton is dead. He died of auto-sword asphyxiation. There's an earthquake and a fault opens. Everything falls into the crevice. Wake up back in the other world with Nave.

Cheeto Dies (12/9/2014)
We awake from our battleground dream and find that the library in Blanche is burning. Can't find Cheeto or Fade. When we reach the entryway of the library, we find the librarian is dead. Rushing through the door are city guards holding torches. When we leave the library, find people from the city behind a line of guards.
But before - 3 guards attack the party. Duvall Feelin is a rich banker that was not involved with the Black Book Club, but is a super powerful politician. He knows that we killed most of the people in charge, so we can't stay in Blanche.
SERED FINALLY CRITICALLY HIT SOMETHING. He summoned some ghostly fiery blades and shot Duvall dead. The guards were getting paid by him, so they back off once he's dead. BLANCHE IS OVER. Sered takes control of the city.
Durga talks to one of the guards. Feelin just wanted us out of town. The librarian was just controlled.
A WOMAN APPEARS! Well-dressed Nave is the exarch of the Raven Queen. Sered sees a flash of snow, crows, ravens, branches, and the base of a tree. Fade can tell that it is the Shadowfell and has a vision - the gods are trying to kill us and we have to reunite with Cheeto to get Fade. The Raven Queen gives us some presents.
Nave opens a portal. Cheeto is still possessed by Clayton's sword. This portal shows us a rocky outcropping, red, with gnarled plants. We look for clues. The Raven Queen is chill with Sered's god Ioun.
Aceldama discovers some footprints, some of which look demonic. Continue to the valley to a small town with a lake, and so much burning called Avante. Carnage demons attack.
We find Cheeto with a blank face in a cute house. He cries and screams and Durga talks to him. He walked into town with everyone else and had a dream time. More demons appear and....CLAYTON! He escapes yet again, but destroys Cheeto. Cheeto is dead.
Nave stabilizes everyone else. Clayton leaves once he gets the Tiefling sword. His wife Miriam was super popular, but died in childbirth. Clayton wanted to bring her back to life. Has been trying to gather power from the Prothumia...something about Orcus...

Once everyone makes it through their maze, they find themselves trapped in a 10x10x10 box and encounter a raspy-voiced creature. Camden is transported to an island in an ocean. There's another island (Island of Truth/Island of Lies)
Aceldama is faced with a man accused of multiple murders. If she decides he is guilty, he will be executed; if innocent, free to go. Aceldama deems him innocent, but he wasn't so her hands are stained red for the rest of her life.

That Time We Killed a Baby (9/18/14)
Poor people are into us; rich people think we are vigilantes. There is currently a political vacuum in Blanche.
The city of Razabuh is teaming with magical energy - a place of despair and terror. Children under 9 are acting possessed and try to leave town. The first night, many are found dead or missing. The second night, kids are locked up. This only happens during a full moon.
One month later, our crew shows up during the first night of the full moon and the town thinks it is cursed.
Cheeto has returned from a meditation time and has gained control over the sword that used to possess him.
Something powerful in the northern part of the city. Otar, a homeless man, is looking for his son. His son is 11, but mentally challenged, so also missing.
Sered and Noreak find the guard headquarters. Derajohn - distraught, PTSD, distracted. All the kids are found dead in the southeast corner of the city in a forest area. The jail is right next to the guard place and there's a necromancer.
We find another person who is out of town. Her name is Valerie and she has been here a month and saw when the children left last time. She noticed that their eyes were blacked out (like that dude from Limp Bizkit). She's been staying with Koba, an innkeeper, where we could probably stay too if we do a favor.
Fade and Cheeto go to Koba. He's worried about his daughter and his wife is a city guard. Sered and Noreak go see the necromancer Griggle and learn that he is part of the Vecknacult that uses the souls of children for demonic purposes. He was in deep in the cult, but not practicing anymore. The mob strikes the jail.
Aceldama and Durga talk to some crazy lady that knows what happened. There was a curse from some god Sinine (trickery, illusions, loves to keep to the shadows - a favorite deity among elves and halflings). He's mad about not recognizing polygamy.
A cleric is ranting for people to repent. Some other lady is yelling about Griggle being the problem. Sered is set on killing Griggle and dissolves his body.
Arrows start falling out of the sky and there are archers on the roof. There are many dead babies, and one crying baby named George. Clayton shows up. A spike comes out of George's mouth and ghostly spider legs appear.
Sered kills the spider baby. The children reanimate and are crying. Their parents come and are reunited with their children.
The Prothumia can be used to summon freaky creatures.

the Black Book Club (8/28/14)
While Aceldama was out in the Tinder Forest, Hausu cats attack. Sered vanishes into thin air and Noreak closes the rift between two worlds. The other heroes fight a shitty dragon.
Back in the library in Blanche...Pointless Glitter Wizard is back. He is begging tearfully for help because his cleric sister Claudia gets tied up in sex slavery.
The seedy part of Blanche - the Lower Bottoms - is getting more influence and sex slavery is on the rise. Claudia worships the sun god and is a super good noble who believes in relieving suffering. We haggle for 35% up front and the use of Gaulder's teleportation skills.
Once we reach Lobot, we come across the Rusty Nail Club full of murderers and creeps, and a pearl-like fancy maple syrup that people are using to get high. Rampant drug problems. Noreak basically lights the bar on fire. However, Sered saved the bartender and converts him to become "God-curious."
Ludlow AKA "Luddy" is the main pearl dealer and has a gaudy estate close to Lobot. Sered shoots crotch-chains to bind the guards and Luddy. Durga intimidates Luddy and he spills it - Claudia had come to him to ask him to stop selling pearl.
BLACK BOOK CLUB - wealthy mason-like group that is using pearl as recreation. They got bored and started raping other races. Nathan Broadmore hosts.
Durga chokes out Luddy and Aceldama decapitates the guards. We don't clean up our shit.
There is a dungeon in the lowest level of the house. We hear grunts and screaming and then see some expensive clothes, which leads us to believe ---ORGY?
There are 11 men naked, but not currently chained. Glitter Wizard turns one dude into a toad. Nathan Broadmore has a chode.
We find Claudia, but then Glitter Wizard disappears, and Claudia tells us that she doesn't have a brother. In a rare mood of anti-violence, Aceldama takes Claudia to get a drink while everyone else kills off the rest of the Black Book Club.
And we realize - WE STILL NEED OUR $$$ GLITTER WIZARD!!!!

Gaulder (the Glitter Wizard) snaps his fingers to spell out a name in fireworks. He wants the Eye of Vireo and is accompanied by four bandits. Throws a missile. The minions are pointless. Gaulder lightning strikes and hits Fade, but misses everyone else.
We should have killed him, but he escaped - all his spells were failures.
Later at the bar...Aceldama and Fade discover that they were on the same plantation back home, but don't press further about information. Too many bad memories.

Eye of Vireo + Noreak (6/19/14)
Balasar and Ennath retire from the crew due to procreation obligations. We pick up this Eladrin Runepriest, Noreak, to help round out the gang.
Back to Blanche and the Master Librarian. Sered partially got Cheeto's mind back, but we still don't know if he is possessed or not.
THE EYE OF VIREO - is an artifact that can help our crew find the Prothumia and Clayton. We head to some abandoned ruins up north. They are made of black stone, craggy, snowy, and blizzardy. Avalanches are a problem. The ruins have been carved into a crater.
Yeti howlers - wailing ghosts of those killed in avalanches. Premature death. Howls precede avalanche time. Aceldama and Noreak kill some yetis. Then we get into a dungeon.
Found some magic items: Aceldama gets some Walk on Water Boots, Fade gets some Shadow Leaf Armor, Noreak gets a Belt of Vigor, and Durga some Gauntlets of Overstrength.
We come across Vireo's ghost. Aceldama kills that dude, but he leaves behind a crystallized eye (see above). She gives it to Noreak for safe-keeping.

Sentient Misty pt. 1
Agitated, I awaken. The night air is cool and crisp on my rump. There is danger near. I hate trolls. Always poking, and asking for money. This wasn't a troll though. Or was it? No, no it's probably a bird, I hate birds too.
In any case I gallop down a winding path to the group sitting around a fire. There I see a handsome, tall, shadowy, man with a dark features and piercing eyes, and some other people.
"Master!" I whinny, he turns and with a sparkle in his eye recognizes my distraught state of mind.
"What's wrong Misty?" He asks.
I snort like this. Whipping my beautiful, silky, black mane.
"There's danger." He tells the others, "Probably trolls, Misty hates trolls..." Suddenly alert the group stops discussing the philosophical implications of a (most likely) delicious, sandwich containing spells of mass destruction.
"To Arms Companions!" the Green man with the big boobs says, roaring with triumph before any triumph has been had. The whole group, including my master seems suddenly even more alert. At the corners of my peripheral vision, I see them: a man with a rat face, a man with a fish face, a man in a dress, and... a troll! Disgusting. I hate trolls.
I rear up and bellow, wild eyed and beautiful. When I land I gallop toward the troll.
"Noooo! Misty, don't!" The Shadowy man yells. But it's too late, when I get crazy eyes there's no stopping me. I charge the troll, thinking of their gross gnarled fingers and unkempt, yellowed finger nails... poking... their raspy voices, "Do you have any spare change," disgusting.
I rear on the troll and land my hooves on his stupid, ugly troll face. The troll goes down like an apple falling from a tree, but unlike a tasty treat gently landing in the grass, his head explodes like an overripe plum under the pressure of my well manicured hooves. But it's not enough. I continue alternately stamping each of my front hooves all over his body like I'm making apple sauce, until his entire body is pulverized. Purple troll blood squirts in every direction. Each squish makes me feel as if a little goodness has returned to the world.
After what seems like hours I turn on the corpse and kick my back leg so dust flies over the body. I can see in my peripheral vision that the group is stunned. The Green one slowly begins to clap his big manly hands, the elf and the Black one have stopped in the middle of their spell preparation to gape. My master's sister licks her lips.
My master simply states, "What can I say? He hates trolls..."
Proud, I canter off the board, letting out a satisfied sigh. In the background I can hear them beginning to battle, but I know they'll be fine now that the troll is gone. I'm going to get double brushings for this tomorrow. Pretty, pretty.

Globs of translucent slime oozes. Cheeto kills an ooze with fire damage. Durga inflicts massive fire damage to five ninjas. Aceldama takes out some grey slime. Sered invokes his god.
Cheeto gets stabbed by Clayton creating a red crackly time. Attacks Sered with mind control. Aceldama kicks the sword out of hand, lands on the ground, but then goes back into the hands repossessed. Light engulfs Cheeto and unpossessed Cheeto takes the sword.
Clayton takes off. No explanation - not resolved. Sered gets the impression that the sword is still fused with Cheeto, but he has control of his faculties.

Clayton von Trashperson is our prime target. He teleports into our scene and kidnaps each person to a foreign arena. A land of red deserts and shallow craters.
Aceldama kills the boss. Durga kills someone. Aceldama kills someone else. Sered kills a bunch of people.

Nightmare Epidemic (3/31/14)
Nightmares become an epidemic in the city of Malt. We return to Blanche to get Cheeto (a shapeshifter) and arrive just before nightfall. Everyone is haggard and hysterical from lack of sleep, and everything is boarded up. Malt is a small walled city where everything is made of stone. Short buildings and only one gate to get in.
HISTORY: Malt used to have a longer name. They have been at war with the Tieflings (who don't have their own realm), and the farmers in this town suffered from an ethnic cleansing 300 years ago. Old rambling women and merchants - 3 weeks of nightmares. Always seeing horned things - screaming, blood in shadows. Some people see ghosts.
Sered senses weird energies (but not necrotic) more "chaotic arcs of energy" - OCCULT?
The Muscle Crew goes to the barracks. Talks to Guard Captain and finds that people are stealing sleep aids from the apothecary. He's panicky, but not violent. Worried about riots. People having the same nightmares.
One person has disappeared before the nightmares started. His name was Amnon and he was a Tiefling blacksmith apprentice. A young bachelor..
People come to the Inn worried that their homes are possessed. However, recently the innkeeper also had nightmares. Adrik - a dwarf blacksmith has also seen ghosts. The Tiefling War Museum is closed and a ghost appears below the museum. The blacksmith is upset about the disappearance of his apprentice.
The shop was in disarray when he left - ghosts show up all the time beckoning him to follow them. Found Amnon's journal.
We break into the museum and scale the walls to follow the ghosts.
Pass a former graveyard. Crypt Kruthick live in warrens. We kill three of them and a bunch of hatchlings. Enter a bloody forge underground. A dude with the Prothumia teleports in and Amnon is at the anvil. There is a sword made of the Tieflings' blood in the old war.
Ennath summons panther spirits/ghosts to remove fire. Amnon has been in a trance and his nightmares have been infecting the town...

The Muscle Crew goes to the barracks. Talks to Guard Captain and finds that people are stealing sleep aids from the apothecary. He's panicky, but not violent. Worried about riots. People having the same nightmares.
One person has disappeared before the nightmares started. His name was Amnon and he was a Tiefling blacksmith apprentice. A young bachelor..
People come to the Inn worried that their homes are possessed. However, recently the innkeeper also had nightmares. Adrik - a dwarf blacksmith has also seen ghosts. The Tiefling War Museum is closed and a ghost appears below the museum. The blacksmith is upset about the disappearance of his apprentice.
The shop was in disarray when he left - ghosts show up all the time beckoning him to follow them. Found Amnon's journal.
We break into the museum and scale the walls to follow the ghosts.
Pass a former graveyard. Crypt Kruthick live in warrens. We kill three of them and a bunch of hatchlings. Enter a bloody forge underground. A dude with the Prothumia teleports in and Amnon is at the anvil. There is a sword made of the Tieflings' blood in the old war.
Ennath summons panther spirits/ghosts to remove fire. Amnon has been in a trance and his nightmares have been infecting the town...

Zombies in a town like Soledad ("It's Happening" - 3/6/14)
People are getting murdered by a shadow in a small town called Tellyar (like Soledad).
There's a Blacksmith, an Inn, and a Dry Goods Shop. At the Inn we find out from Alamon the innkeeper that there have been five murders at night - all killed in their beds. The blacksmith (George) saw his own daughter killed.
Darrell is a forester killed in an accident (a tree fell on him). His wife Sandra is in mourning. Charlie (alive, drunk, & distraught) and his brother Sam (a potato farmer with purple marks on his neck) are also present at the inn. Susan is a chatty neighbor who mentions rituals to appease forest spirits and talks about a cat. Elle is the barmaid - runs into Ennath (our Wilden Shaman) at the store. Elle was sleeping with two dead foresters. The first, Borrow, into beer and poetry, but kinda a boring dude. The second, Glenn, is from Blanche and Elle is into him.
The shadow gets stronger with each kill. Find a crypt "Simenon" in graveyard - a spiritual drain, "necromantic shit"

Sered destroys the altar/obelisk. Ennath's panthers kill the demon! Sandra had tried to resurrect her husband, but in fact created a necrotic portal.

Warehouse by the Docks/Prothumia (1/21 & 2/3/2014)
The heroes all meet each other. Catch a thief at an abandoned warehouse by the docks. The Prothumia is missing and if we can find it - REWARD! Looking at the book is punishable by death, but Sered NEEDS to read the book.
